16 Reasons No One In Their Right Mind Visits Cleveland In The Winter
Cleveland's winter is often seen as bleak and uninviting, with many locals and visitors finding little to enjoy during the season.
Cleveland is city of many wonders... you know, when it's warm and actually possible to enjoy things. Beaches, markets, and most roads become absolutely unusable in the winter, so what is even worth seeing in Cleveland when it's snowy? Not much. But we do know exactly what is worth avoiding during Cleveland winters:
1. I've heard that the sky and sidewalk are the same exact shade of gray during Cleveland's winter months.
2. Seeing that much white can really make you feel down in the dumps.
3. You'll just spend all of your time indoors...
4. ...Which is probably fine, because you can't even think of one outdoor activity that's worth seeing in Cleveland.
5. And all of those icicles just become so monotonous to look at.

6. All of the wildlife either leaves or hibernates for the winter.
7. Clevelanders are boring anyway, and they have no sense of humor.
8. You'll probably get sick of Greater Cleveland's winter landscape, especially in the Cleveland Metroparks.
9. Who wants to visit the Mistake on the Lake, anyway?
10. There's nothing to do or see in the city.
11. With our luck, that one river in Cleveland will probably catch on fire again during the visit.
12. And winter in Ohio is just plain ugly.
13. Nobody wants to visit "scenic Lake Erie," especially in the winter.
14. Even Cleveland residents hate the snow, you'll just hear everyone complaining the whole time.
15. You'll just spend your entire visit wishing you were at home.
16. Winter in The Land just never seems to end.
Cleveland is a stand-out city, but winter is its one season that stands out from all the rest. While we locals like to complain about it, we really don't think it's that bad. What would you add to our list? Let us know in the comments!
