Mohican State Park

Hocking Hills State Park and Forest

Hocking Hills State Park is my favorite place to go hiking in all of Ohio. Hiking to Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave is always a delight and while the caves are shallow, the hike to them and looking out from them is always an extremely photogenic scene. While it’s a popular area, and the trails can be steep in places, it’s always well-maintained and always a joy. Don’t miss it!

The Holden Arboretum

Location: Kirtland, OH.

Wow Factor: Holden Forests & Gardens is a public garden with a world-class plant and environmental science center.

Need To Know: Admission runs from $13 - $19 and it is open every day except Monday.
