There's nothing like a waterfront winery with gorgeous views on a sunny day. Hidden Lakes Winery in Canal Winchester is just as stunning as it sounds. From the lakeside views and the peaceful setting to the tasty menu and award-winning wines, a day at this underrated attraction is picture perfect.

Welcome to Hidden Lakes Winery, a little oasis that makes the perfect escape from every day life and routine.

Address: 650 Winchester Pike, Canal Winchester, OH, 43110

Owned and operated by a fifth-generation winemaking family with European roots, this underrated winery is practically the definition of a hidden gem.

You can visit Wednesday - Friday from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., on Saturday from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

While the dreamy setting will lure you here, it's the award-winning wines that will make you want to stay awhile. We recommend the Harvest Gold (white) or the Road House Red.

On the menu, you'll find a wide variety of Italian dishes, salads, sandwiches, wraps, appetizers and gourmet pizzas. There's a little something for everyone.

Weather permitting, you can sit outside right by the water and enjoy your wine. (And if you're lucky there might even be some live music in the gazebo.)

Please note: Hidden Lakes Winery is closed Monday- Tuesday.

Of course, with floor to ceiling windows, the views from the inside seating aren't bad at all either.

(Pro tip: If you have a party of larger than 6, it's recommended that you call ahead to insure seating availability.)
