The park is located southeast of the small, charming town of Kathryn, North Dakota. With a population of only 52, this whole area is pretty quiet.

Escape into the 27 acres of the park and campground to just enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of nature. The area includes open grassy fields and forests around a bubbling spring-fed stream.

Little Yellowstone includes trails and a walking bridge, all through a very picturesque area. Be on the lookout for birds and other animals.

It's gorgeous to visit in the fall, but the rest of the year is a perfectly fine time to visit, also. People like this place for its quiet camping, scenic trails, and amenities.

The park includes a playground, picnic shelter, both primitive and electric campsites, and plenty of ways to take in the outdoors.
