The holiday season is finally upon us, and that means North Dakota's towns and cities come alight with dazzling holiday decorations.
Each year, the Fargo-Moorhead Sertoma Club hosts a holiday lights drive-thru in Fargo's scenic Lindenwood Park.
Every night of December from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., you can cruise along Roger Maris Drive through Lindenwood Park and enjoy more than 75 light displays from local businesses and organizations.
The cost is only $8 per vehicle, and you can get a $1 discount if you donate a non-perishable food item. The donations are distributed among food pantries in the area, spreading the holiday cheer with those in need.
The light displays are spread throughout the park along Roger Maris Drive, which forms a convenient loop. The entire drive is about 1.7 miles long.
The entire experience can be enjoyed from the comfort and warmth of your own vehicle. Set the radio to some Christmas tunes, bring the whole family, and enjoy a slow drive through Holiday Lights in Lindenwood Park.
