Cabin Lake County Park serves residents and visitors of Duplin County by offering outdoor recreational experiences to enrich their lives.

It also provides the best stories to tell after a charmed visit bringing unexpected adventures.

The park offers 30 Amp RV camping and tent camping with nice dispersed sites, picnic tables, a rentable picnic shelter, fire pits, and bathhouses throughout the park.

Some water hookups are shared with other sites, so bring a splitter. And pack a longer hose as the dump station is on the right side of the road.

The draw of this gorgeous 70-acre lake is why most people visit.

Be the first to break the water in the morning.

Because you'll believe you are boating in the sky.

Or begin your day on the forested 2.3-mile hiking trail.

We find that making our way back to the water is the best activity.

The swimming area is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day.

If you'd rather fish, try it on land or from one of the several fishing docks on the property.

And if a leg workout is in order, stretch them on a pedal boat.
