This is the time of year when we scout out some of the largest pumpkin patches in North Carolina. Briley's Pumpkin Patch in Greenville falls into this category as a third-generation family-owned farm. The summers provide fresh produce stands running through Labor Day, and late September brings the delightful reminders of autumn. The farm opens on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6:00 p.m. Sept. 23-Oct. 29 for a much-anticipated pumpkin-patch season.
