The Salt Sanctuary is one of New York’s finest salt therapy spas. It is located in the spa at Traditions at the Glen Resort and Conference Center in Johnson City.

At the spa, ancient European healing techniques are resurrected to their past glory: Salt therapy is inspired by the sterile microclimate of natural salt caves in Eastern Europe.

The salt cave provides a tranquil environment where visitors can lounge in anti-gravity chairs and enjoy calming music.

The salt cave was constructed with pink Himalayan salt that is rich in minerals and is big enough for multiple guests.
