New York's Robert H. Treman State Park is over 1,100 acres of scenic, upstate New York beauty in the Finger Lakes region. There are also 12 waterfalls that explorers can see along the trails at this gorgeous state park, making it one of our favorite hikes in the state!
The Rim and Gorge Trail at Robert H. Treman State Park is one of the dreamiest hikes in upstate New York, the kind that will make you feel like you've stepped into a fairytale.
This 4.3-mile loop trail winds through overlooks, waterfalls, and gorgeous scenes from one of the best state parks in New York.
Overlooks like these are not something you'll see on just any trail. There's a reason Robert Treman State Park is one of upstate New York's most popular hiking destinations.
You'll come across all kinds of quiet scenes like this one in your journey through this state park adventure. There are more than nine miles of trails at the park, along with cabins and RV sites.
It's a park that's perfect for hours and hours of hiking but also a great destination for a quiet afternoon walk over bridges and alongside waterfalls. The infrastructure of these pathways is pretty rare for such a beautiful region.
There's plenty to explore at this park outside the Rim and Gorge Trail, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls and Enfield Glen, one of the most popular areas in the park where visitors can go for a swim in the midst of this incredible scenery.
When it comes to packing in the maximum number of waterfall sightings, this is one of the best bang-for-your-buck hikes in New York!
The park is also just a few miles down the road from Ithaca, a city that sits right on Cayuga Lake and is a great town to spend the weekend exploring. Or drive up Cayuga Lake for the day and hit a few of the excellent Finger Lakes wineries along the way.
