La Puebla Trails is a great open course for a trail run. You'll find a mostly smooth track with some good hills for a great workout.
3. Rancho Valle Horseback Trails
For great horseback nature trails in Sombrillo, you will want to check out this great 8.4-mile loop trail.
There are some lovely views from the tops of the hills. But note that some parts of the trail are quite sandy. Be sure to keep your eye out for a small cliff dwelling amongst the hills!
