You'll find Hyde Memorial State Park just 15 minutes outside of Santa Fe. As you drive along NM-475, you'll soon get a glimpse at the winter wonderland that awaits.

This pretty state park encompasses 350 acres in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. At an elevation of 8,500 feet, Hyde Memorial Park gets plenty of snow during winter months.

All that fluffy, powdery snow is perfect for wintertime fun! The park is a popular spot for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, so bundle up and spend the day exploring.

You'll also find several small hills that are perfect for sledding. Make some family memories that will last a lifetime when you spend a weekend here.

Just a short drive farther up the road, and you'll reach Ski Santa Fe, a beautiful ski resort that's the perfect place to practice your skills. With plenty of terrain for all skill levels, everyone in the family will have a blast.

The resort also offers ski and board lessons, and the views from the mountain are unbeatable.

The campground at Hyde Memorial State Park is open year-round, so plan to spend the night. The small campground includes RV sites with hookups, tent sites, group shelters, and even three cozy yurts to keep you warm and dry.
