Late summer in New Hampshire means getting outside as much as possible! From beach trips to lake trips to heading to mountain summits, there's still plenty to get done before things get cold. We've been hitting the trails and walkways of the state to give us a little more of a reminder that we might be the luckiest folks in the country. Here's a great trail, taking you around one of the most wonderful lakes in the state.

The Tower Hill Pond Road trail is a loop trail located in Auburn. We love loop trails because they allow you to follow the trail without too much attention to blazes and directions. Simply follow the path and you should end up back where you started!
The loop follows the Tower Hill Pond all the way around.
The route begins off of Tower Hill Road heading straight for the pond.
The trail is wide and very well-groomed, making for a leisurely stroll versus a strenuous hike.
The scenery here truly depends on the time of year. In the spring and summer you're likely to encounter areas that are lush with greenery and running brooks.
And in the fall you'll be surrounded by gorgeous examples of New Hampshire's foliage.
There's also some great fishing to be done here. You might consider heading out on the trail to find a spot on the pond to fish. Then, when you're done, continue the walk and head back to the car.
There are quite a few activities to be done on the trail, including playing with your dog. They're allowed here as long as you've got a leash.
This is a great trail if you're simply looking for a way to relax, take in some great views and then continue with your day.
