In New Hampshire we're blessed with plenty of mountain views. This unique ride will ensure you see the beauty of our terrain with new eyes.

You're probably familiar with both Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch State Park - but did you know that the park operates an aerial tram that you can ride right up the mountain?

The first aerial tram started operation up the mountain in 1938, and carried nearly 7 million passengers up the mountain.

Each tram can hold up to 80 people and ascends 2,180 feet to near the 4,080 foot summit of the mountain.

The journey takes about 8 minutes, and your mind will be blown by the views as you rise slowly up into the air.

At the tram stop, take a short walk up to the very summit of the mountain.

There's a small cafeteria at the summit, so you can grab a beer to enjoy while you gaze for miles toward Vermont and Canada.

These views will stay with you forever - make sure to bring you camera so you can share them with others too!

The Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway is located within Franconia Notch State Park - learn more and plan your visit here. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for children 6-12, and free for children under 5. You can also pay a combined rate for tickets that will also get you into Flume Gorge.
