Without a doubt, fall is my favorite time of year. Beautiful scenery, crisp air, comfy clothes and delicious foods are just a few of the many reasons why fall is the best season. And even though Wednesday, September 23 is officially the first day of fall, signs of fall are already starting to surround us.
Here are 10 early signs of fall in Nevada:
1. School starts back.
2. The leaves start changing colors.
3. Labor Day kicks off the fall season.
4. Pumpkin patches start popping up across the state.
5. Football season begins.
6. Pumpkin spice EVERYTHING becomes available, including the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks.
7. Halloween items start filling retail store shelves.
8. Many apple orchards open as fall approaches.
9. The temperature begins to drop.
10. Winter clothing and accessories become available at retail shops.
