Salt Room LV is a wellness center which specializes in "salt therapy."

The treatment is also called halotherapy and works by simulating the climate of a natural salt cave. Breathing in the salty air is said to provide benefits for a number of ailments such as allergies, respiratory and sinus conditions, and skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

The halotherapy is done through lounging on a chair inside of the Salt Cave, which is a room with wall-to-wall salt and even salt on the floor.

You can't wear shoes inside and you can wear whatever clothes you like. If you have a skin condition and want more exposure to the salt, Salt Cave LV recommends wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Once you're inside the Salt Cave, sessions are 45 minutes and all you need to do is lie back and breathe!

You can read a book if you like or do yoga, as long as you are quiet and do not disturb the other clients lounging in the room with you. There is also a private Salt Cave room you can request as well.

If you just want to relax, soothing music is piped in to the rooms and the lights are dimmed, so all you need to do is lie back and shut your eyes.

Some people come for several sessions while others just looking for stress relief and not any specific health benefit come as they feel the need to relax.

Salt Room LV also offers classes inside of the Salt Cave.

Classes include yoga, pilates and guided meditation.
