The Field Of Screams In Montana Is A Classic Fall Tradition

Field of Screams in Victor, Montana, offers a spooky haunted attraction experience every October, featuring eerie walk-throughs and creepy characters.

Do you have any local fall traditions? For some, family trips to the pumpkin patch or apple picking days signify the start of the new season. But for many others, something spookier is on the horizon. Every October, Field of Screams opens in Victor, and it's always a great (and slightly terrifying) time.

Field of Scream has repeatedly been named Western Montana's Number One Haunted Attraction. This year marks their 22nd annual event.

During the daylight hours, you're welcome to bring your children for some all-ages fun like wagon rides and a mini corn maze.

But as the sun sets, things start to feel a little eerie.

The haunted fun officially begins at dusk.

The Field of Screams is a walk-through experience, and you'll traipse through acres of cornstalks over your head.

You never know what might jump out at you ... and that's the point.

You'll trek through fog-filled swamps, graveyards, clown-infested playgrounds, and make eye contact with all kinds of creepy characters.

There may even be a man with a chainsaw jumping out at you, which never seems to end well in scary movies.

This is called Field of Screams for a reason.

It's not recommended for children, the faint of heart, or anyone who doesn't enjoy being spooked.

The nightmare ends at the famous haunted Ghost Town, which is connected to Field of Screams and included in your admission ticket.

Tickets are $20, and you can throw down an extra $5 to take home a photo of your screaming group.

Field of Screams is located on Highway 93, about four miles south of Victor and 30 minutes south of Missoula. Tickets are available for purchase on-site, but you can also get them online here. Enjoy!
