Most People Have No Idea This Unique Park In Missouri Exists
Dinosaurs Alive in Kansas City offers an immersive experience with scientifically accurate animatronic dinosaurs.
Everyone loves dinosaurs. After all, many of us see the prehistoric creatures as fascinating and larger than life. While we can get a peek at dinosaur bones at museums and imaginary dinosaurs on movie screens, we really don't often get the chance to see - up close - what dinosaurs might have realistically looked and moved like. Dinosaurs Alive, an unforgettable attraction in Missouri, changes all of that with its collection of animatronic dinosaurs.
Go on an unforgettable adventure where you'll get a close-up view of larger-than-life animatronic dinosaurs at Dinosaurs Alive, tucked in Worlds of Fun in Kansas City.
Before you reach the entrance, you'll catch sight of the towering dinosaurs, each of which was designed with scientific accuracy.
Stroll along the path through Dinosaurs Alive, where you can learn about each of the moving dinosaurs on the information plaque in front of it.
In fact, use the console to make the dinosaurs move, a fun experience for everyone in the family and for guests of all ages.
The attraction features 35 dinosaurs - from the Ruyangosaurus to the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
And, you might even run into some scientists, in search of a baby dinosaur, like the adorable little fella pictured below.
Kids can also dig and play in the massive sandbox, which offers a glimpse into what life as an archaeologist is like.
Explore Dinosaurs Alive, open from 11 a.m. to dusk from April to October. (The attraction is open when Worlds of Fun is open.)
Worlds of Fun is located at 4545 Worlds of Fun Ave., Kansas City, MO 64161.
