1. Moody Street Dam, Waltham

Built in 1836, this dam is actually a renovated version of the original 1785 Eden Vale Dam. The dam creates a spectacular rush of water that is beautiful to see. It's one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Massachusetts.

2. Beaver Brook Falls, Belmont

Located in the Beaver Brook Reservation, this waterfall is just one of the scenic spots in the park’s 59 acres of open fields, wetlands, and woodlands. The waterfall is very near a parking lot and features a lovely observation deck. It's the perfect place to visit if you're looking for easy-access waterfalls in Massachusetts.

3. Cordingly Dam and Falls, Newton

This is another waterfall that is the product of a dam. The powerful cascade swirls just to the side of a pedestrian area, so you can enjoy the view while keeping out of the spray.

4. Silk Mill Dam, Needham Heights

5. Pawtucket Falls, Lowell

These rapids drop 32 feet over the course of a mile and were once an important fishing resource for native peoples. Today, you can view them from the bridge over the Merrimack River. It's one of the best no-hike waterfalls to visit in Massachusetts.

6. The Flume Fountain, Sandwich

The Flume Fountain at Heritage Museum and Gardens is a beautiful, man-made cascade. The waters fall into a clear reflecting pool through lovely blooms.

7. Doane’s Falls, Royalston

A quiet walk, 100-foot walk from a parking lot on Doane Hill Road will bring you to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Massachusetts. Featuring a tiered cascade and a lovely footbridge, this is a great spot for some photographs. This is one of the most beautiful no-hike waterfalls in Massachusetts.

8. Chicopee Falls, Chicopee

The last on our list of easy-access waterfalls in Massachusetts is Chicopee Falls. These falls tumble across a masonry stone dam into the Chicopee River. It’s parallel to Route 33, also known as Bridge Street, so getting here is easy as pie. This dam is the third-largest on the Chicopee River and is the perfect spot for a sunset stroll.
