If you're intent on spending several days here, camping is always an option. You can reserve one of 44 campsites, which includes both tent and RV sites, or one of three yurts.
Among the recreational activities visitors can enjoy are fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, and non-motorized boating. You can also take an off-road vehicle out on designated trails.
In the winter, you also have the option of snow-mobiling and cross-country skiing.
One of the best ways to explore the park is along the trails. Whether it's a stream or a river, the Schermerhorn Gorge, or an overlook you'd like to discover, you can certainly find a trail that leads to your desired destination.
Of course, there is plenty of wildlife to discover here as well. Perhaps you'll spot a deer, a raccoon, or even a bear.
