Typically, Boston is bustling with people in the middle of the week, but due to the coronavirus outbreak, Beantown is more quiet than it's ever been. The Boston Globe flew a drone over our famous city, and the views are surreal. During these unprecedented times, many of us are staying indoors, but this aerial video gives you a chilling view of what's happening in Boston's most popular spots. Our city's busiest spots might be nearly empty right now, but it's still beautiful as ever. These stunning aerial views during the COVID-19 outbreak are sure to go down in history.
The Boston Globe flew a drone high above Boston during the coronavirus outbreak, and the views are surreal. During what is usually the busiest part of a weekday in Beantown is now eerie and desolate.
Due to the city locking down and widespread social distancing, Bay Staters are all staying indoors. Usually Boston's streets are flooded with people, but now, you'll only find essential workers out and about.
The views in this aerial video are surreal. You can see Quincy Market, Boston Commons, and many other Boston landmarks. While our streets are usually packed, they're almost empty.
Taking in the stillness of our city is a bit chilling, but it's great to see Bay Staters banning together to slow the coronavirus outbreak.
