Massachusetts is home to many natural wonders, but our beaches are by far the most beautiful. Not everyone in the nation has the privilege of coastal living, but it's incredible to have such prominent beauty right in our backyard. While the world can get you down at times, there's no better way to relax than to stroll down the sand alongside the ocean. Coast Guard Beach in Eastham on the Cape is a beach that seemingly winds on forever, and you can get lost in the moment as you hear the waves crashing down and feel the sand beneath your toes. Let's take in all of the views that this blissful beach in Eastham has to offer.
Coast Guard Beach is one of five Cape Cod National Seashore beaches, and there's a reason Henry David Thoreau named it "The Great Beach."
This shoreline is located in Eastham on the Cape and is breathtakingly beautiful.
Besides the beach itself, this area features a marsh, many hiking trails, and an old coast guard tower, making for an unforgettable atmosphere.
The beach itself can get quite crowded in the summer, so if you'd prefer some quiet time, it's helpful to go early in the morning, or at sunset.
This shoreline seems to wind on forever, so you can get lost as you stroll down the sand.
At low tide, you may even see harbor seals, making for an incredible experience.
The views at Coast Guard Beach are second to none, so sitting upon this sandy strand is the perfect way to relax.
