Weverton Cliffs is located along the Appalachian Trail in the Knoxville, Maryland area.

Once you park, the distance to the overlook is about 1.5 miles in length. Be aware that sections can be a bit rocky...
...and steep. This route is not stroller-friendly and you'll want to wear shoes or boots with good tread.
Continue to follow the white blazes along the Appalachian Trail and soon you'll arrive at the overlook.
Take in the stunning sights, where you'll witness rolling mountains and water views for miles.
Feel free to stay a while and soak it all in...
...but use caution, especially if the rocks are wet from recent rainfall.
To enhance the overlook view, visit during autumn when copper-colored leaves paint the surrounding landscape...
