This Strange Phenomenon In Maryland Is Too Weird For Words
A group of friends tests the legend of Spook Hill in Burkittsville, MD, capturing their experience on video.
There is a strange phenomenon that is happening in the town of Burkittsville, Maryland. One that defies both the laws of gravity and reason.
You may recognize this town as the filming location and setting of the successful creepy flick, "The Blair Witch Project." It is also home to another weird event that is truly bizarre.
In a phenomenon known as "gravity hill," vehicles appear to roll backwards up a hill.
Burkittsville has a gravity defying road that locals refer to as Spook Hill. If you go to the bottom of the hill and put your car in neutral, it will appear to drift uphill, seemingly defying the laws of physics. Some say it's an optical illusion, as the natural surroundings make a downhill slope appear to go uphill. Others are convinced the result is paranormal.
