You Can Take In The Best Scenic Views Of Maine’s Mountains With A Visit To Deepwood Farm
In addition to incredible coastal views, Maine has some of the most beautiful mountain scenery. With so many tourists heading to the coast throughout the year, it's often more peaceful to visit the inland areas. But those aren't the only reasons we love exploring the state closer to the mountains! There are also quite a few unexpected activities that are fun for both kids and adults. One of them, horseback riding, is a great way to get outdoors in a way that's a bit more unique than a hike.
Deepwood Farm in Bethel offers a variety of different equine activities for people who love horses, love the outdoors, or just love experiencing something new.
Owner DiAnne Ward has more than 30 years of experience with the instruction of horses and her love of the farm is clear. She offers trail rides for visitors to experience one of the most beautiful parts of Maine.
Each trail ride is one hour and the maximum group size is six, which means there's plenty of hands-on help and guidance.
Riders travel along wooded trails through the forest of the White Mountains.
This is one of the most peaceful ways to see the land and it's fun to do it with friends and family. A trail ride would be a great activity to help celebrate a special occasion.
The trail rides even cross streams, which gives the horses a chance to enjoy the water. This is a highlight for many riders!
In addition to these rides, Deepwood Farm also offers lessons. And in the winter, the farm offers sleigh rides.
Bethel and the White Mountains are a beautiful part of Maine to experience year-round and Deepwood Farm is a great place to do it!
Deepwood Farm offers a variety of different activities, from the trail rides featured her to lessons and even sleigh rides during the winter.
