As you'll notice underneath the map, they've included a scroll that highlights each weekend until October 29th. According to the key, residents of Maine will experience the very beginnings of fall foliage as early as August 27th.

If you continue scrolling through the map, you'll notice the prime time for leaf viewing in Maine is the weekend of September 24th.
