Lake Claiborne is a man-made body of water that’s perfect for a day of summer fun.
The lake was created in 1970 when the United States Army Corps of Engineers dammed up the nearby Bayou D’Arbonne and has been a favorite natural area for locals ever since.
The 6,400-acre lake is every river rat’s dream.
With such a large surface area, you can bet you'll find your own little corner of the lake to enjoy.
Boating is a popular activity, as well as jet skiing and waterskiing.
If you prefer a more calming experience, rent a kayak from the park and paddle out for your own adventure.
