Before the summer comes to an end, be sure to get one last beach trip in! Just because we don’t necessarily have the white, sandy beaches that Florida does, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some Louisiana beach time! This particular beach is truly one of a kind and you’ll have a blast.
There’s a little known beach in Cameron Parish that you need to visit.
Known as the "Cajun Riviera", this hidden gem has been through some tough times.
In 2005, Hurricane Rita destroyed this little beach town, practically leveling the homes in the area. Then, in 2008, Hurricanes Gustav and Ike took their toll, flooding the area yet again.
Built to be rebuilt, the area is on the upswing.
Holly beach is a wonderful little beach to spend the weekend.
It’s a popular crabbing and surf fishing location, so bring your poles and nets!
It’s also the perfect spot for sea shelling.
The beaches aren’t as crowded as the ones in Florida, so you’ll feel like you have the place to yourself!
One of the best parts of the beach is that you can drive right on the beach!
Searching for a parking spot and then lugging all your beach gear to the beach is such a pain.
And you can camp right on the beach.
Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves crashing.
Who wouldn’t want to wake up to this view?
Of course, if camping isn’t your thing, there are cabins you can rent.
Fully furnished, cable, and most importantly, air conditioning.
Start planning your Holly Beach trip now, before summer’s over!
Holly Beach Cottages and Holly Beach Rentals are both great options if you're looking for cabin rentals.
