The Angel Windows Trail is one of the park's most accessible treks. This 0.6-mile trail winds beneath these winsome sandstone arch frames, and will leave you speechless. This hike is rated "easy" and takes an average of just 16 minutes to complete -- that is, if you hoof it.
You'll want to take your time on the trail, however, as the forest landscape is sublime and the sandstone arches truly unlike anything you've ever seen.
Once you've reached the eponymous Angel Windows, be prepared for quite a scene.
There are over 150 naturally-formed sandstone bridges throughout the Gorge, but none are quite as beguiling as the Angel Windows.
