At just two miles long, S'mores Trail is a quick and easy stroll through Wyandotte County Lake Park. It's an out-and-back hike, and the elevation gain is under 200 feet, so all skill levels can enjoy the adventure.

The woodland terrain is reminiscent of a fairytale, and the enchantment only grows with each additional step you take. Vibrant greenery lines the path, its jungle-like appearance transporting hikers to a faraway exotic paradise.

Wooden footbridges every so often provide a nice change of pace, enhancing the storybook feel even further. You'll be half-expecting to look up and see fairies flitting about in the treetops!

Depending on the season, you might catch a glimpse of some truly eye-popping wildflowers. You won't quite know where to look because the beauty is just all-encompassing.

Gnarled tree roots snake across the path, creating uneven footing at times – so watch your step! Even still, the old limbs are absolutely magical to behold.

Although the trail doesn't directly parallel Wyandotte County Lake, the water still peeks out through the trees every once in a while. It emanates a cool breeze that dances across your skin and offers rejuvenation for the rest of the hike.
