Drones are incredible because they show you things that you might not have seen otherwise. This is especially the case if a place is abandoned and off-limits. This particular drone footage we are sharing with you today is from an abandoned stretch of Route 66. Fifteen years ago or so it closed. This area is Joliet Road in McCook, Illinois. These aerial shots of the road are truly incredible. The shots are even more amazing with the quarry shots on the side. These are just the sites you can expect to see on Route 66. Thanks to this drone user, you can enjoy these sites again.
