The incredible Perrine Coulee Falls is located in the Snake River Canyon in the city of Twin Falls. This is by far one of Idaho's most underrated waterfalls compared to nearby Shoshone Falls or Twin Falls' namesake waterfall. This 200-foot beauty is definitely a sight to see.
You'll find Perrine Coulee Falls located less than a mile away from the canyon's iconic Perrine Bridge. You'll be surprised at how many treasures are hiding within the Snake River Canyon. You could spend all day adventuring here.
To find the waterfall, you'll drive down Canyon Spring Road (south of the bridge) as it snakes its way into the canyon. You'll eventually come across a pullout where you can park your vehicle. You'll find a well-worn foot trail nearby that leads you to the waterfall.
The hike is short and it isn't long until the waterfall comes into sight. It's absolutely magnificent. At 200-feet tall, you have to crane your neck to see the spot where the water begins to cascade down the cliff. The waterfall flows all year round, but it has an especially healthy flow during spring and summer.
The trail will lead you directly behind the waterfall! The foot of the waterfall is very rocky and slippery, so use caution if you decide to scramble around.
There's nothing as refreshing as the feeling of the mist on your face as you get closer to this amazing waterfall. It's not until you're directly behind it that you actually realize how massive the waterfall is.
This makes for an awesome side adventure whenever you find yourself in Twin Falls. There are all sorts of waterfalls to discover in the canyon, but this is by far one of the most unique.
