There’s A Wildlife Park In Georgia That’s Perfect For A Family Day Trip

You may know it by its former name, the Yellow River Game Ranch, but it's now under new ownership and has been completely renovated to provide the best possible habitat for the animals that live here. Yellow River Game Ranch was a popular destination for many decades, but the facility closed in 2018.

It was purchased by new owners who made massive strides in improving the animal habitats here. The animals are the top priority.

The facility has an array of animals, including species that are native to America, like the gray wolf.

There are also some exotic species, like the wallaby, native to Australia.

Cups of feed are available for purchase for select critters that are friendly and enjoy human contact.

In addition to animals, you can also enjoy gem mining here.

This is such a lovely spot with beautiful scenery and so many amazing animals to check out.
