Raven Cliff Falls in Georgia is a truly majestic waterfall hike, pairing pure North Georgia nature with a stunning waterfall finish.
Raven Cliff Falls Trail outside of Helen, Georgia is a 5.8-mile out-and-back hike that is perfect for an afternoon in nature.
As one of the more popular hikes in the area, you might see quite a few hikers on the trail especially during the warmer months.
Visitors to this trail enjoy it for the different opportunities, whether it’s hiking, biking, fishing along the creek, or even bringing furry friends along.
The trail is rated as moderate, largely due in part to the rough terrain in some areas and an elevation change upwards of 500-feet.
For most of the route, hikers will be shaded by the giant hardwood trees, with the sounds of the nearby stream rolling through.
Making it to the actual falls—a 40-foot high cascade, is truly one of the greatest sights, as it tumbles down onto the boulders below.
