Butterfly World in Coconut Creek opened in 1988, and it has been growing ever since. This park is the largest of its kind in the whole world, with more than 5,000 butterflies.
This park is huge and unbelievably gorgeous. It features gardens made up of flowering plants, waterfalls, fountains, and a swinging bridge over a large pond.
Unlike a crowded theme park or zoo, this park feels like a tropical oasis.
Not only are there thousands of butterflies to see, but there are also aviaries where you can observe a variety of rare and beautiful birds, including the largest hummingbird aviary of its kind in the United States.
You will probably never have an experience like this in nature, with butterflies dancing all around you and even stopping to land right on your hand.
The museum and insectarium teach all about different kinds of butterflies, moths, beetles and more.
At the Bug Zoo, you can observe all kinds of live insects, spiders, and other creepy-crawlies.
