Blowing Rocks Preserve is located on Jupiter Island in Florida, sitting on a cool 73 acres of land.

Over a mile long, this limestone bluff connects the sand and the sea in a dramatically eye-catching shoreline.

This natural preserve is a true geological wonder for Florida, with the huge chunks of Antarctica limestone that are fascinatingly fresh.

Thankfully, in 1969 local residents rallied to preserve the area, which was honored by The Nature Conservancy.

Visiting Blowing Rocks Preserve will give you a thorough and simply stunning view into Mother Nature.

While visiting this geological landscape is a day well spent, it is advised to visit during extreme high tides or after a winter storm.

The sea will break against the rocks and sometimes the waves will throw a spray of ocean up to 40…50…60 feet high!

Another reason to explore this unique rocky terrain is to see some creatures of the sea in their natural habitat.

Sea turtles, shorebirds, fiddler crabs and more all call Blowing Rocks Preserve home.
