Additionally, visitors can choose to experience a boat ride for $5 per person. Enjoy a 15-minute boat tour that takes you from the Visitor Center Boat Dock through Pepper Creek to the West entrance. This is a fun way to see all that this unique and beautiful park has to offer.

What To Know Before You Visit

Give yourself plenty of time to experience the park. Remember that these animals are unique. They live in this state park because they cannot survive on their own. For seeing manatees, the best time to visit is December through February. The park is open 7-days a week from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Prices are $13 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 13.

Fishing and swimming are not allowed at this state park. Fun fact: weddings, ceremonies, and other special events can be held in this beautiful area.
