Located just outside of Tampa, this state park is the perfect place to explore a forest filled with Florida wildlife - and it's also home to the only class two rapids in the state! If you're looking for a forest adventure but don't want to get your feet wet, the Baynard and Seminole trail in the park offers a convenient 5.5-mile loop with an easy-to-access boardwalk that leads to maybe the best scenic overlook in Florida.

This is an older state park, and you can see many remnants of its history - including an impressive amphitheater section that's now a popular picnic location.
