Blue Spring State Park is the type of place where you can entertain a whole slew of outdoor activities in one of the most spectacular spots in Florida.

In fact, there is nothing more refreshing than hitting the trails throughout the park and then diving right into the spring for a welcomed cool down.

When we say refreshing, we mean a consistent 72-degrees of pure spring water.

One of the best trails you can hop on for the day is the 4.5-mile Pine Island Trail, which takes you through the best of what this park has to offer.

After the hike, head straight to the swimming hole for a bit of relaxation and of course to stay cool under the summer sun.

Also keep your eyes peeled along the river's edge for the manatees that make their way in and out of the area throughout the year.

You can also spend a few days at Blue Spring State Park and secure a primitive campsite or cabin in order to hike and swim all weekend long.
