Colorado’s Niagara Falls Is Too Beautiful For Words

Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride, Colorado, is the tallest free-falling waterfall in the state, standing at 365 feet.

It's hard to pick one aspect of Colorado to declare the most stunning of all, but if we absolutely had to, it would be our jaw-dropping waterfalls. While we have waterfalls in all sizes and in all corners of the state, the most spectacular of which would have to be this one, in particular, that is just too beautiful for words.

Everyone knows Telluride is home to Tom Cruise (did you know he has a vacation home here?!), breathtaking scenery, and world-class shopping, but did you know that it is also home to...

...the incredible Bridal Veil Falls?

It's the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado, and Bridal Veil Falls is truly a sight to behold, thanks to its unprecedented 365-foot-tall cascading waters.

(To put that into perspective, Niagra Falls are a mere 167 feet tall!)

Bridal Veil Falls can be accessed via hike or 4-wheel drive, which gives visitors an even better glimpse at this all-natural wonder.

Note: the distance to and from the falls is nearly five miles and when paired with an elevation gain of 1,650 feet, can be a bit difficult, so please trek with caution.
