The old Farmers Exchange building in Medina is a familiar sight to many.

Believe it or not, this is the third building at the site of the Farmers Exchange. The first two burned down years ago, although certain elements of the old structures remain post-rebuild. It was officially condemned in 2016, but the years (and a visionary group of locals) have been kind to it.

Nowadays, it features 16 apartments upstairs and a whole market space downstairs.

The Exchange Market opened its doors in 2019, and locals couldn't be more excited. Its spread of artisanal ingredients, foods, soaps, and more offers an additional degree of excellent shopping options to area residents.

The market, which includes a coffee shop, a butcher's counter, a brewery, a restaurant, and more, has quickly become a favorite for locals.

There's something here for everyone, it seems, from a cute little coffee shop to a local Pierogies of Cleveland stand.
