If you've been looking to enjoy a serene adventure that will leave you in awe, then add this gorgeous two-mile-long hike in Erie County to your bucket list.
Located less than 10 miles outside of Buffalo, West Seneca is home to a stunning park that you'll want to spend a whole day hiking through.
With nearly 20 acres of land open to the public along the Buffalo Creek, all it takes is a quick trip out to West Seneca to explore one of Western New York's scenic forests.
In total, the Burchfield Nature Center has roughly two miles of trails that wind throughout the park.
Leading you across boardwalks and well-maintained trails, you'll want to be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife as you hike through the forest.
Numerous ADA trails make this beautiful area accessible to all, so bring the whole family along on an outdoor adventure!
From the deer darting through the forest to feathered friends high up in the trees, visitors of the Burchfield Nature Center are reminded that the center is the home to all sorts of wildlife and respecting the natural landscape is a must.
Burchfield is more than just a nature center; it’s also known for its outdoor art exhibits that bring pops of vibrant color to the trails.
Right by the creek, an amphitheater nestled in the trees hosts concerts during the summertime.
