Backpacker Magazine hails it as "Arkansas’s Waterfall Paradise." They’re not talking about one of our more popular state parks, either. They’re referring to the Richland Creek Wilderness, and they’re absolutely right to call it a paradise.

In the 11,674 acres of this waterfall paradise, you’ll find many of the most incredible waterfalls in the state. Including the little known Punchbowl Falls, which is just stunning.
Skirting the edge of the Richland Creek Wilderness, you’ll find five waterfalls. They’re all just a few miles south of the Richland Creek campground, on Falling Waters Creek.
Among those is Six Finger Falls . . .

This paradise is waiting for you, just up the road a ways.
