Here in Arkansas, we're pretty enthusiastic about waterfalls. In fact, we often find ourselves searching "waterfalls near me in Arkansas." If this is something you can relate to, we have just the place for you to explore.

The White Rock Creek Falls Trail is an overlooked treasure near Shores Lake. The trek takes you to the stunning blue waters of Bliss Spring Hollow and even a couple of waterfalls. In fact, if you've ever wondered, "what are some waterfalls near me in Arkansas?" and you happen to live near Franklin County, you're in luck! This Ozark oasis will make you fall in love with the Natural State all over again! Let's enjoy the bliss as we head to this gorgeous hollow.

Shores Lake Recreation Area has much more to offer than boating adventures.

The area is a favorite for camping, fishing, and all around relaxing but the lake isn't the only spot to enjoy. Less than a mile north of the rec area is another chance to take in the jaw-dropping beauty.

White Rock Creek Falls Trail will take you on a ridiculously beautiful tour through the creeks.

The trail is part of the larger Shores Lake Loop. The loop is a full 12.7-mile trek around the lake but today's section is an 5.3 out-and-back. This hike mostly follows the Bliss Spring Hollow along White Rock Creek. It's rated as moderate and will leave you huffing. Between the rating and rather rocky descent, we don't recommend this one for kids.

The hike isn't the easiest but it is one of the prettiest.

The effort will be worth it when you drink in the views. The creek's color stays a brilliant turquoise that will make you never want to leave.

If the gorgeous grottos weren't enough, this hike also has waterfalls!

The creek trail has many photo-worthy moments but the cascades and waterfall will be your top snapshots. They're 10-ft. and 31-ft. tall respectively and are best viewed after some good rains.

These waterfalls will certainly reward you for your effort exerted on the trail.

Each season brings a different vibe to the trail but the spring and fall are probably the best times to hike. You won't have the deep-set summer greenery but the trail will be easier to navigate.

Be sure to research the area further before you take that first step! Here's a GPS-friendly map of the trail.
