Arizona may be landlocked but that doesn't mean there aren't places that will make you feel like you're on the coast. With over 100 lakes, some with sandy beaches and swimming, you can find your own slice of paradise and pretend you're at a beach along the ocean. If this sounds lovely to you, then make your way to Yuma's Centennial Beach, a pristine inland beach in Arizona.

Located within the 110-acre West Wetlands Park in Yuma is one of the top-rated beaches in Arizona. Centennial Beach provides a wonderful escape and some fun under the Arizona sun.

Centennial Beach is located at what's known as the "lower bench" of the park. You'll also find a boat ramp by the beach.

Just pick a spot on the sand where you can sit and relax, maybe read a book, or go for a swim.

If you're taking kids with you, be sure to pack some shovels and pails because they will certainly want to play in the sand! Build some sandcastles with them and create some fun summer memories.

You can also hike along the Colorado River within the park. In addition, there's an equestrian trail, a boat ramp, a playground, picnic tables, grills, gardens, and more.
