Located within Big Lake Recreation Area in the eastern part of Arizona is a serene lake that's ideal for those who want to escape reality for a bit.

Big Lake is a 575-acre body of water for swimming, boating, and fishing. Surrounded by natural beauty, you'll feel at peace here.

Just imagine spending hour after hour on a boat with a fishing rod in hand. Sounds quite peaceful, doesn't it?

Just launch your boat from one of the launch sites like the Big Lake Railroad Cove Boating Site or the Big Lake Boating/ Launch Site. Non-motorized as well as gas engines under 10 HP are allowed on the lake.

Big Lake happens to be a great lake for trout fishing. Just be sure to bring the proper fishing gear with you!
