This Little-Known Trail Is Quite Possibly The Best Biking And Walking Path In Arizona
While hiking trails are more than abundant around the Grand Canyon State, not all are paved. Sure, we can hike or even go mountain biking along a dirt path through the desert, mountains, or forest but what if we want to take a stroll on a paved pathway? If you're looking for a paved trail, there's one wonderful biking and walking path in Arizona you may want to check out.
Welcome to the Queen Creek Wash Trail! Located in the town of Queen Creek, this multi-use trail is currently 4.7 miles long and ideal for hiking, walking, jogging, and biking.
If you need parking, you can find a lot at Desert Mountain Park. Here you'll also have access to facilities like restrooms, playgrounds, and ramadas.
If you've never explored the town of Queen Creek, this multi-use path is a great way to do so. You'll also be able to see the town's natural beauty on foot or by bike.
The pathway is 8 feet wide most of the way and made of smooth asphalt. It's also both wheelchair-friendly and stroller-friendly. And while it can be pretty busy on the weekends, you'll find it to be quieter at certain times of the day.
