A trip to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix is always worthwhile, but especially so when Chihuly in the Desert comes to town.
This dynamic art exhibit features dozens of large-scale installations designed by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly.
Nestled among the garden's 50,000 native plants, the sculptures blend in perfectly with the landscape.
While undeniably gorgeous beneath the radiant desert sun...
...the dark of night adds a whole other layer of brilliance to the display.
Giving off an incandescent glow, the sculptures offer an ideal backdrop for a cool and calming winter stroll along the garden paths.
Chihuly in the Desert isn't new to the Desert Botanical Garden - but this year's display features many never-before-seen installations!
There's also a large indoor gallery at Dorrance Hall that's not to be missed.
Address: 1201 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008.
