1. Keystone Canyon

2. Turnagain Arm

Anyone living in Southcentral Alaska surely knows all about these phenomenal waterfalls that line the Seward Highway going from Anchorage to Girdwood. These are all incredible sights to behold with the consistent ability to distract us from keeping our eyes on the road at times.

3. Prince William Sound

While heading down the Seward Highways towards the town of Whittier, you'll see lots of frozen waterfalls along the way. Quite possibly the most jaw-dropping is once you drive towards the tunnel and experience hanging glaciers in the distance with frozen waterfalls lining the mountains and rock faces.

4. Seward

The cute little coastal town of Seward on The Kenai, Alaska's Playground has a lot of incredible natural wonders. We can't help but be obsessed with this one waterfall which sits perfectly on the mountainside overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning!

5. Ketchikan

Nestled deep in the Tongass National Forest is a special sight only available by airplane or a lengthy backcountry hike. How does a frozen lake, natural dam, and frozen waterfall sound to you? Sounds pretty freaking incredible to us!

6. Chitina

7. Black Rapids

When Black Rapids in Delta Junction freezes over, the sights are best described as being overwhelmingly beautiful. With glacier and mountain views as far as the eyes can see, plus a shot at seeing the Northern Lights at nightfall - you'll be taking photos nonstop.

8. Juneau

Alaska's state capital city, Juneau is filled with hidden wonders. From the frozen winter views at Nugget Creek Falls to the various trails in the backcountry leading through mini, frozen waterfalls along the way. You'll never run out of places to explore in this magical region.

9. Mill Bay Beach

Mill Bay Beach on Kodiak Island isn't known for having epic proportions of snow, but it does have some pretty sweet little frozen waterfalls that develop during the winter months. Take a stroll with the dogs and go beach combing while soaking in a variety of unique landscapes.

10. South Fork Falls

Located in Eagle River, South Fork Falls is a sweet little winter escape, especially after a good snowfall. Enjoy fresh powder with immaculate views of frozen waterfall magic in the distance.
