Noccalula Falls Park is a beautiful park that's located in Gadsden, Alabama. It's a definite must-visit for anyone who loves the outdoors.
Covering approximately 250 acres, this scenic park receives visitors from all across the Southeast and beyond. In fact, it's one of the state's most visited natural attractions.
The main feature of Noccalula Falls Park is of course Noccalula Falls, which is one of Alabama's most beautiful waterfalls.
Noccalula Falls, which cascades 90 feet into the Black Creek ravine, is sometimes referred to as "Alabama's Niagara Falls." It's a definite must-see!
Another feature of Noccalula Falls Park is its Historic Gorge Trail, which is 2.5 miles out and back. This scenic trail receives hikers from near and far.
There are several structures you'll discover during your visit to Noccalula Falls Park, including Gilliland's Covered Bridge. This historic wooden bridge was built is 1889 and is one of Alabama's few remaining covered bridges.
For those of you who wish to stay a while, Noccalula Falls Park also features a campground, which includes RV and tent sites. Noccalula Falls Campground is open year-round.
