The Little River Canyon, located near Fort Payne, Alabama, protects approximately 14,000 acres of land atop Lookout Mountain and is one of the most beautiful nature spots in Alabama.

Best known as the "Grand Canyon of the East," the Little River Canyon is approximately 12 miles long and 600 feet deep.

Within the Little River Canyon National Preserve, there are many overlooks that offer the most breathtaking views.
